RICEFW

  • All the functional and technical consultants work on RICEFWs during their SAP project life cycle in the realization phase.
  • When the business requirement cannot be fulfilled by standard SAP functionalities, then we require a RICEFW. All objects are defined using the RICEFW classifications in any implementation, roll-out, migration, or upgrade project.
  • Project functional teams are expected to fully test all the RICEFW objects and would have to be passed by the business users. These are the pre-requisite for business go-live in SAP.

SAP FIORI Enablement

SAP Fiori is the user interface or user experience (UX) that supplements and can replace the SAP GUI. This streamlined application uses tiles to encapsulate standard tasks, such as approving purchase requisitions, viewing sales orders, and approving timesheets. In the current S/4HANA releases not all SAP GUI standard transactions are available as a standard SAP Fiori Apps using any of the technologies listed above, this means you will find some cases where you will need to define an alternate approach to expose standard or custom backend functionality in Fiori Launchpad.

SAP PI/PO

SAP Process Orchestration (PO) is an application integration middleware software developed by SAP. SAP PI is a component of SAP PO, and also of the SAP Netweaver platform that allows integration between SAP and legacy applications or other external systems SAP Process Orchestration is a tool to automate and optimize business processes. It combines features of SAP Business Process Management (BPM), SAP Process Integration(PI) and SAP Business Rules Management(BRM). In other words, it's more advanced version of SAP PI and has all the tools required to integrate applications. The integration broker or server is an integral part of mediated communication consist of Java based Advanced Adapter Engine (AAE) and an integration engine for routing. Mediated communication is based on an integration broker which is executed by exchanging XML messages.
